Late edition pinned after dark

A journal of everyday city life

The late bus. The long queue. The light left on.

Kerbside is a journal of the ordinary city — the places people keep using, the routines that hold, and the details that only show up on the way home.

Notice to readers

The city keeps late hours. So does the board.

Everything is pinned by hand: an address, a queue, a sign somebody repainted. Read one, or take one with you.

How we keep the board

A story earns its pin by being specific: a street corner, a closing time, a name somebody remembers.

  1. We go out and look.

Every piece starts on a pavement, not in a feed. The best details arrive on the way to somewhere else.

  2. We name what is ordinary.

Most of a city never makes the news. It still deserves a sentence, a photograph, and a second look.

  3. We leave the door open.

Search it, filter it, or save it for later. Nothing here is metered, urgent, or trying to keep you scrolling.
