Studio notes · Practicalities

One room, six benches.

Forma keeps a single workroom on Ropewalk Lane — north light, a long pine table, and a kettle that never goes cold. Courses run exactly as printed: one session, start to finish, with the instructor at the bench beside you the whole way.

You arrive to a laid-out bench and leave with the work, the mess of it, and the skill. Most people come alone; nobody stays a stranger past the first hour.
