    ¶ Questions

    Before you book a seat

    Do I need any experience?

No — every October workshop is designed for complete beginners. Your maker demonstrates each stage, and there is plenty of time to practise, ask, and redo.

    What should I bring?

Just yourself and clothes you don’t mind marking. Aprons, tools, materials, coffee and tea are all provided, and most pieces go home with you the same day.

    When can I collect ceramics?

Clay pieces are glazed and fired after your session. They’re usually ready to collect from the studio in about two weeks — we’ll have them wrapped and waiting.

Can I come on my own?

Very much so. Most people do. Tables seat six to fourteen, sessions are sociable without being forced, and the maker keeps the room moving.
