Make something
with your hands.

Forma is a small, sunny studio where six to fourteen people gather around one big bench — to throw clay, mix colour, arrange wild stems, and fold dough. No experience needed. Aprons on, phones down.

How a workshop runs

From bench book to bench

Three entries, in order. Nothing to download, nothing to bring but yourself.

Pick your entry

Browse the six October workshops above, open the ones that catch your eye, and check the date, time and price against your calendar.

Stamp your tray

Saving a workshop stamps it onto your shortlist tray. Filter by “Show my tray only” whenever you want to compare your picks side by side.

Show up, apron on

Arrive ten minutes early at the studio. Tools, materials and coffee are waiting on the bench — your instructor takes it from there.

The studio

One long bench, in a converted print shop

Forma runs from a light-filled former print shop. The presses are gone; in their place stands a single oak bench that seats fourteen, a kiln in the corner, and shelves of glazes, pigments and flour. Groups stay deliberately small, so the instructor can reach every seat.

  • Benches1 long oak bench, 14 seats
  • Group sizes6–14 people per workshop
  • MaterialsAll included in the ticket
  • RefreshmentsCoffee & tea on the bench
  • ExperienceNone needed — beginners first

Practical notes

Before you come

Do I need any experience?

No. Every October workshop is written for first-timers, and instructors demonstrate each step at the bench before you try it. Confident makers are welcome too — there is always a harder variation to attempt.

What should I bring or wear?

Just yourself, in clothes that can take a splash of glaze or flour. Aprons, tools and all materials are provided, and anything you make is yours to take home (clay pieces are fired and ready to collect later).

How does the shortlist tray work?

Open any workshop and choose “Save to my tray”. Your picks stay saved on this device, and the “Show my tray only” toggle in the workshop list filters the bench book down to just those entries.

Can I come with friends?

Yes — several workshops seat ten or more. Check the “Seats” line on each workshop: Sourdough Sunday is our smallest table at six, Color & Company our largest at fourteen.
